This website was originally created in 2002, when i found no Hermione fansites
on the net (apart from one single page for her which is sadly no longer
online), i felt the need to create a proper shrine for my favourite character.
This site quickly became, and still remains, the largest Hermione fansite
on the net. This site was also the first ever website to present pages on
the Ron/Hermione relationship and to present all the evidence from the books...
and look at that, I was right...
"When I started to write Hermione she came incredibly easily, largely
because she's me. I was swotty, and I had that sense of insecurity underneath.
I tried to compensate for that by getting everything right all the time,
and, like Hermione, I projected a false confidence, which I know was very
irritating to people at times. But underneath it all, I felt completely
and utterly inadequate - which is why I completely understand Hermione."
